About The Artist

In 1997, Mr. Olagoke founded the Art-Alive Art Trust (AAAT) to provide access to the arts for young people in diverse environments, ranging from primary schools to prisons. The self-taught painter, who spent a portion of his childhood in Nigeria, was acknowledged in the King's New Year's Honours list for his contributions to helping young people engage with the arts.

Having received the Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) award from Prince William at Windsor Castle, Olagoke's presence at Powerful Media's "50 Most Influential Nigerians Worldwide" event in late July 2024 was particularly notable. His fresh MBE status added a distinct prestige to the gathering, which also included prominent sportspersons like Victor Osimhen, Anthony Joshua, Tobi Amusan, and Mike Emanalo on the global list.
